Newsletter signups

When you sign up for The Hotspot Dispatch, we send your email address and selected interests to Brevo, our email service provider. Brevo sends a confirmation email. You join the subscriber list after you confirm. We use your information to deliver the Dispatch and manage your subscription.

Brevo processes subscription status, confirmation activity, and email delivery information. Newsletter reports may include opens and link clicks so we can understand which stories readers use. We do not sell our subscriber list. Advertisers do not receive your email address through a newsletter placement.

Your choices

You can unsubscribe through the link in any newsletter edition. To request access, a correction, or deletion of information associated with your subscription, email info@therealhotspotabq.com. We keep subscription information while it is needed to provide the newsletter and manage your preferences. An unsubscribe record may be retained to prevent unwanted future sends.

Using the website

Saved stories stay in this browser on this device. There is no website account. Your browser can clear these saved items. Email inquiry links open your own mail app; you decide whether to send the message.

Our hosting service processes connection information, including IP addresses and requested pages, to serve the site and protect it from abuse. The signup service briefly uses your connection address to limit repeated requests. The site does not use advertising pixels.

Other services

Google Fonts supplies this website’s fonts. Instagram, Facebook, Threads, and event-ticket links take you to other services with their own privacy practices. We do not load social-media embeds before you choose to visit those services.
